What do you think of the safety profile of the DPP4-inhibitors?

i) No side effect
ii) Rare skin rash - bullous pemphigoid-lesser in asian ptn, compared to placebo -almost identical
iii) like most other oral GLDs in lowering HbA1c & no hypo
iv) DPP4i work in both before and after mean. Particular better at post-prandial meals
v) Discontinue a DPP4i if patients is on a GLP1
vi) DPP4i very good with insulin, other drugs or monotherapy
